Default 1992 LS400 Airbag light, horn not working, and cruise control not showing

Hey,
I'm helping a friend with his 92 LS400.
The airbag light is on and counting the flashes (code -14)it refers to the airbag squib circuit.
I've noticed pressing the horn is not working either. But the actual horns sound when I apply battery voltage to them.

The cruise control light doesn't show up on the dash either.

I've removed the airbag, steering wheel and using a multimeter to check continuity.
There is no continuity from the back of the clockspring to the front of the clockspring.

Additionally there is no continuity from the airbag connector (on the airbag) to the junction underneath the steering wheel directly underneath the dash. I followed the yellow shrink wrap from the steering wheel to under the dash.

I'm sure this is a bad clockspring but other than doing a continuity test can't confirm 100%.

Any thoughts?

My next steps would be buying a clockspring to see if that has continuity before installing it. Not sure if the dealer still has new ones.

Another thing that I'm noticing is that the cruise control switch in the steering wheel has three wires. White, White-Black, and a Red. But the electric diagrams say there should be a Red-Blue.

Fuse(s), "clockspring" or grounding issue...

Solved my intermittant horn issue;

Fuses checked out and relay.
Clockspring shows no continuity. Can't find and other electrical testing.

I saw your solution with adding another grounding connection to the upper steering column and will see if that helps.

I've been searching online for used clocksprings, but anyone recycling or junk yard doesn't know the part number unless they take it off first. Will be taking one off a 93 LS400 to see if it matches up.

Anyone know if a 93 or 91 clockspring would work? Unless the wiring is different I think they have 6-pins
I have seen a few that have 6 turns and some that have 5 turns to end.

Wanted to share, a 1993 clockspring has a different connection port from a 92's clockspring. As well as different amount of turns. 6 turns (93) vs 5 turns (92) from what I have learned

So I was able to solve my problem.
The 5 turn clockspring is only for 92 while the 6 turn clockspring is for 93 - (upto whatever year) as far as I can tell.
Other than having an additional turns worth of wiring in the clockspring the main difference is the width of the 6-pin connector port on the rear of the clockspring. This 6-pin wire transmits the horn, and cruise control. The connector port on the 93' is wider IIRC (forgot already) and there is another ribbing on the inside of the connector.
I was able to pull out a working clockspring for a 93 year from a junkyard and I took the whole steering wheel wire harness as well. Since I needed the different connector port as it would not match with the 92 wire harness.

I had to take apart the whole wiring bundle from the donor and the old bundle. And transfer each wire from the donor connector to the old connector 1 by 1 until all 6 were transfered. The wire colors for the 6-pin from the 92 is colored the same as the 93.
The only thing I needed was the 6pin wiring. You can't transfer the whole wiring harness as there are additional wires and from 92->93 the wires have been moved around.
I had to find each color wire and match the location from the donor wire to the old wire connector.

Tested my work by checking the horn and cruise control which lighted up on the dash.
Connected the airbag and the airbag light didn't go out. Realized the light would need to be reset and followed the steps here:
Light reset

After turning the key, the light went out.
