No, they aren't chipped. I ordered a couple on line, then had them cut at Ace Hardware for around $40 a key.

Heres a thread that has the keys I ordered,best prices I could find,and Im 'thrifty' LOL. Very cool,they can cut them with just pictures,I also made 2 wallet keys for me and Mrs and my dremel tool.Also explains difference between master key cut and valet cut,get the master style.Mines 98,unsure if yours has valet and master keys?
Someone should know.
