so, how many LS400s do you have/had/and how long have you been driving them?
we all have our reasons for driving LS400s. they are old enough now to where you kinda really gotta want one and seek one out as they are getting hard to find. how many have you had? how many are in your driveway now? how long have you been driving them? are they your soul means of transportation or are they a secondary car of yours, and you have a modern fallback car? plan on having one forever or just till you can get a newer LS?
ill go first. how long? driver since '01 preferred means of transport? yes how many owned? 21 how many now and what years? 3 , 1995, 1999, 2000. main transport? yes, but i have a 2014 mustang (modern car) for long trips planning to upgrade? yes, eventually but not anytime soon, and regardless of what i end up with, ill Always have an LS400 in my fleet |

how long? First one was back in 2010 or there abouts, and then three more after that. preferred means of transport? Yes, for commuting to work and back. how many owned? 4 how many now and what years? 1st 1993 2 years, the cream puff that started it all. 90 K miles and purchased from grandmother that got too old to drive. 2nd 1995 2 years 3rd 1999 for about a year and then gave it to dad and he still drives it now. 4th 1998 had to get back to the Diamond Pearl White, but this one had and has the most miles on it: 227k at the moment. main transport? Yes, but I have a few to choose from depending on the mood and weather. planning to upgrade? Looking for that Crème de le Crème LS 430 that I can't live without... always looking for another one. |

yes, but only when conditions are extemely ideal (no snow, no traffic, no short trips, no frequent stopping) 1 but some day id like to have all 3 iterations of the 400 at once 1, 1999 depends, for commuting and other errands I pretty much exclusively used the crown vic since I didn't care what happened to it or how long it would be parked outside in direct sunlight, the LS is kind of being wasted by just going down the block, or sitting in traffic, or being driven through the city where the 1UZ can't stretch its legs... something it loves to do and does fabulously will be keeping this forever, mainly as the gets driven once or twice a week type car since there is no update |

bought the #TexasLexus about 5 years ago. was daily driving it myself. now daughter drives it daily. preferred means of transport? yes. #butter the 99 with 347k miles. long highway drive to work. what else would be better? how many owned? 5. #TexasLexus. as clean underneath as on top when I got it. went from 150k to 220k miles. keeper 91 flip car. had a 117dB stereo. old guy bought it would probably will never turn the radio on 96 #BigBlack son drove it daily for a while. grabby steering box. not running when bought. replaced the coil. sold to a neighbor. still going. 99 #butter. my daily for 70 mile commute. 347k miles. new struts and radiator. bone stock and perfect. 94 flip car. #OldGold sold to a friend's teenage son. safe car for a kid. not running when bought. new alternator and all PS hoses replaced. still going. how many now and what years? 2. #TexasLexus and #butter. 2000 and 1999. Need that 5 speed auto, coil on plug and stability control for a daily driver. main transport? yes, But I have a 350 4 speed Nova for stress relief. planning to upgrade? no. what could be better? |
