*** New Pictures '04 Celsior ***
Well here she is the New Celsior and what will likely be the new LS430...
I was at Sapporo Toyota today to get my bi-yearly inspection started and spoke to the mechanic about the new Celsior... my Friend's is the new model as he took delivery June 24....
There are no brochures yet - standard for Japan - as the Celsior is usually an "Order Made" car...
He did show me a magazine picture of the Wald Body kit which is supposedly 1 of 2 "Factory Installed" body kit options... So what you see is what you get - minus the 20" wheels of course...
I ran out and bought the magazine he showed me and so you guys owe me 880 yen.....
The changes are very obvious in these pictures.. the first is the full page advertizement...

To my way of thinking you can really see the changes in the front grill, headlight shape, rear taillights, rear trunk lid detail around the license plate, front air dam lights.... What else can you see

For those of us who own an LS430 (mine just happens to be a 02' silver like these pictures) these pics don't appear to be a substantial change for 04'. If you take away the body kit and rear lip spoiler the changes might not even be noticable to the untrained eye. The spoiler in the pictures looks to be attached to the trunk lid. Even Spoilerdepot.com has a LS430 spoiler that looks as good or even better than this. I would have expected Lexus to make a new press for the rear lid if they are serious about refreshing the rear lid style with a spoiler. What appears to have changed, aside from the headlights/parking lights and tail light lenses are the roof lines over the cab, most noteable from the middle B piller to the rear trunk area it's lower with more of a curve. Does anybody else see this?
