Gave her the first wash today since I got her and she cleans up pretty good, I posted a photo of the hood so people can see what I'll be correcting with the full paint correction prior to ceramic.

Looks good. What will you use to get the hood back in shape? I take it that the clearcoat is the problem.

If you look on my posts on my account you can see where I re coated this car with clear coat, same color as your LS. the color you will be needing is antique bronze mica.

thankfully it's not far enough along I should need to reapply clear coat. I'm going to use a cutting compound and then a polish and see what I can bring back, my previous car had a section on the roof that was worse and I got it back to looking virtually brand new.

What products will you use. The tops of my bumpers are starting to look a little faded. I used rubbing compound followed by polishing compound, and then wax. They look okay, but I think I could do a better job. I did not want to get too aggressive and make things worse.

Boom all my stuff arrived today! Water pump and timing belt are gunna be done Thursday once I can borrow a lift Haha. The rupes pads will be used once I have time for the full paint correction but I'm working on a 1 week spring break schedule.and I just dont have time between getting stripping the old window tint, getting the windows tinted, doing the pump and timing belt (just because I'm not taking any risks of not knowing its done) and then side work while im home from spring break. I'll probably give her a good cleaning, claybar and then use Adam's paint sealant just to hold her over until im home for summer.

Gotta love this! Turns out today that the previous owner DID have the timing belt and water pump changed! Always a nice find! The teeth look virtually brand new!
