I am looking to customize my 98-00 headlights by opening them and changing out the projectors with some LED
I see people selling these for $800+ so I figured I'd do it myself

I am wondering does anybody know the specs/size of the OEM projectors so I can replace them with minimal fabrication?

I cant seem to find this information anywhere, this question is for anyone who has done this mod, what size projectors did you use? ive also seen people retrofit oem projectors from other cars

Define "minimal fabrication" ?

I don't recall if we had someone who did the Q45 headlights and what was involved. The 2-GS section had much more headlight retro's to get info from.

I would check HIDplanet or https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ for more retrofitting.
not many folks modify the headlights this extensively around here.

Keep us posted on your progress. LS400 headlight retrofits/customs are always hit or miss for me.
I love the Q45 "Gatling Gun" retrofit in the low beams. Sometimes when people start throwing in a bunch of other projectors it starts looking too messy, in my opinion. If the lenses are kept crystal clear the 98-00 headlights are already so sexy!
But I'll never hate on quality work. Good luck!
