Default Oem wheel options for my 99 ls400

I am looking for options for my 99 LS400 that will clear the factory brakes without spacers or adapters. I replaced the factory 16s with 18x7.5 BBS RKs that came from 04 + Special Edition Camrys but I had to run 15mm spacers up front and I don't really want to run spacers on the rear just to have a "flushed" look so I'm thinking about going back to OEM 18s or 19s preferably from the LS or other Lexus models. I know they changed the bolt pattern on the newer LS model which would require adapters so does anyone have any suggestions or pictures they can post up?

Direct bolt on replacement. OD is the same so your speedometer will still be accurate.

Look at the "post pics of your wheels" stickied thread. Tons of aftermarket, but a bunch of people go with OEM's from Lexus too.

I have some 14' IS350 AWD 18" wheels.

Crappy snowy picture of the car, but the wheels are still visible. They clear the front 4 piston calipers just BARELY. I think I had to use my dremel to clear some excess castings on the calipers to make it work, but it wasn't extensive or anything. They do fit without any spacers. I'm running a 245/45/18 Bridgestone Blizzak LM60 and they don't rub during full compression or turning the wheel lock to lock.

They are a staggered fitment though. Wheels are 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear.

the tires were all used up on my 245/45-18 LS 430 wheels and i wanted to return to the full cushy ride so i got the original 16s and put the 18s up for sale

as an experiment i went to the lexus dealer, told them i work for toyota, and to my surprise they gave me a HEFTY discount on brand new genuine toyota wheels and center caps

i'm not currently working for toyota but they don't make you give back your toyota SPIN card

this was the previous setup:

We'd had a running list but haven't updated for the newer models namely the IS and GS that may have the 4 piston calipers. IS-F wheels use a big caliper but of different thickness so they were the exception on the LS400/430's wheel fitment.

01-06 LS430
06-11 ISX50
06-11 GS350/430/460

Thanks! That’s the look I’m looking for and yes I know I’ll probably miss the comfort of the 16s but a big body sedan needs bigger wheels imo.

Dang, I thought my stock rims were in pretty good shape but compared to those they are rough. That looks really sharp with the brand new rims.

well thanks a bunch! despite the discount it definitely wasn't a small amount of money for them so until i actually saw them i was worried they wouldn't meet expectations or something, and that didn't even include the center caps lol... but yea i'm very happy with the finish on the wheels, i like that style much more than the chrome (sorry chrome people). i figured hey as long as i take care of these i'll never need another set. the actual original original wheels have the blizzaks and only see use for like 2-3 months a year. i kind of want to get it detailed now so the rest of the car matches the wheels haha.

oh and i also needed it to be in maximum presentability and comfort mode for when it met the #millionmilelexus

Is the Million Mile Lexus in the area?!? I would love to see it too.

Also, those brand new wheels are beautiful... Wow! What are the chances of picking up a set of 1990 wheels with caps? Haha

The 16-17" LS430 wheels are available at pretty decent prices. I like that look on Billy's car. The 18" sport wheels are in high demand so prices reflect that. The 16's of the 400's are becoming a bit scarce in good condition. I've seen some pretty beat ones. The machine finish like Strook639's would be my choice in that style.
