Wiring harness pioneer vs nakamichi?
Have a 1999 LS400 with OEM Pioneer sound system.
Acquired entire Nakamichi system Radio head, CD player, amplifier, door speakers, tweeters, sub, from 1999 LS400 donor car...and, if necessary, have access to wiring harness...
It is unclear what are differences in wiring harness/connectors.
Lexus parts department lists 4 diffeent dash wiring harnesses; Standard(Pioneer), navigation, Nakamichi, and rear power seats. (Apparently Nakamichi did not integrate into the navigation system)
The door speaker wiring harnesses are the same..
Unsure of differences between Nakamichi and Pioneer wiring harness...
If only a matter of swapping out a few connectors (not cutting wires, but changing connector shells) then much easier than removing dashboards from two vehicles and extracting the wiring harness..
Anyone with information?
Thanks...

I would DEFINITELY junk those 20 year old speakers.Nephew gave me a schooling in different speaker set ups,and what you can get out of todays low priced ebay specials will blow you away.Weve come a LONG way in 20 years of speakers in price and quality. This is a job for a sound man.Worth every penny you will spend to have a pro or an experienced friend set you up.
