Default Corner Light Weatherstrip

There are various points of wear with regard to the weatherstripping and rubber seals on my 1998 LS400. One area where it shows and looks bad is around the corner lights. Has anyone attempted to replace this? I was thinking possibly using some type of silicon or rubber sealant in a tube container, black of course. Would be great if I could somehow find original rubber cut out for this but I doubt they exist.

This westherstrip is not available as a separate service item from Lexus thus requiring replacement of entire corner light assembly, if you go OEM...about $110 each.

I ended up replacing both on 1999 LS400; .one was collecting condensation and the other had broken mounting tab-both had weatherstrip that resembled yours..

A friend purchased atermarket corner light assembly from Rock Auto for his 1998 LS400 and fitment was poor...especially the rubber seal

You can experiment with aftermarket rubber extrusions,...UV and chemical resistance is important.

I used MD brand marine and automotive weathersealing to do exactly this. I was/am very happy with the results a year later, especially considering the cost.
Got it from Lowe's, it came in purple packaging. It has one peel-off adhesive side that seems to be holding on nicely. I used an interior plastics removal tool to push the excess/bulge back into the fender for a clean finish.
I'll try to get a picture soon.
