immobiliser removal 97 lexus ls400
Hi
i need to find and remove the immobiliser on my ls400 11/97
Does any body know how to find and do this so i can get my ecu rebuilt?

if i'm not mistaken the immobilizer is not built into the ECU. it is matched to the key and the ignition only.
please do more research as I'm not overly familiar with this subject.
plus keep in mind we are mostly US cars here, and your model may vary down under.

thanks for the resopnse
Lexus has no idea where it is
the computer man advises he needs it to fix the edu, and he has the key reader system, but cant acces the edu without the immobiliser
they are in photos and talked about across the web but i cant find any info on location and removal
the 97 model in aus is the first to have them
