$170 For what looks like a glorified putty knife. Really, that's nuts. I would just use a cheap putty knife. If you really want that tool, a google search brings up an identical looking tool for $94 dollars less: https://www.handsontools.com/Kent-Mo...8_p_13140.html

Can confirm, I've used a putty knife, and just a 2x4 and a gentle tap against hte side fo the pan to break the seal.

Great find. Next time I'm hunting for something like that I know who to contact.

I've also used a putty knife to separate the pan. No need for that tool unless you just want to have it.

Man i wish i had the room to do this service myself. Does anyone know if Lexus does or did this service do they also drop the pan? or do they just drain and refill the fluid... seems worth dropping the pan and cleaning the filter if you want to service the transmission.
