Default New Guy 1992 LS 400

Hello everyone I Knew one day I would own a Lexus and here I am now at 24 years of age with a 1992 LS 400 with 88,000 miles on it with one previous owner that has ever single receipt of work on it :,) it has really inspired me to maintain it from here on out my self as best as I can. Threw the power of google I have found this Awesome Group of DIY”ers and would apriciate all the help. First problem is Ac is not cold any more I can here the compressor turn on when I turn ac on its just not cold. Do I need to just refill it may be?.

Congrats on your find! I too smile ear to ear every day when I drive my old LS! Get ready for random people to start conversations with you about your car. Happens to me every time I'm driving.

Unless the ac system has been converted to 134, there is no way you can fill it unless you have the correct refrigerant. Your best bet will be to go to some shop that does ac and have them use the nice fancy multi thousand dollar ac machine to do it for you.
