Ls400 rear ss kit or "rca"
Anyone have a picture of one installed on a ls400 or celsior?
I have checked google and have checked this site several times, it seems all image links related to this are dead.

for those that don't have the patch...like me haha!
rear "ss kit" made by youzealand are the pieces above, the lower pieces are for the front, called roll center adjusters (RCA).
what the rear "ss kit" does is relocate the rear lower strut mount away and down from the knuckle, effectively lowering the car slightly.
cars with extreme drops need this as the upper a-arm starts rubbing on the body of the shock since it's arched so extensively from being too low (read: cool guy points)!

I wouldn't call the ride height on my LS400 "extreme".
Would this rear SS kit benefit me in any way, even though my rear upper control arms don't contact the shock body (I don't think..)? Does it have any roll center adjusting/correcting attributes?

These are the best pictures I could find in the broken links
These appear to be custom ones on an ls400 not the youzealand but similar, i believe "sage" or "bold/brave world" made some too
I will try my best to get lots of detailed before and after pictures when I install rear shock drop kit and subframe risers today.

my coilover (not made for an ls400) barely had a mm of travel before the bumpstop in the rear
with the kit installed it has about an inch of shock travel at the same ride height and the car drives much better

do you see the gap under the stock metal?
This one appears to point towards the ground and the one above almost looks like it points slightly upward where the bolts go in...there is also a little gap under where it mounts
Anyone have any install instructions or advice? My other LS also has a kit like this but it was installed before I bought it and I have no access to it right now to see if there is a gap.
any other installed pics would be appreciated

when i was on air i never ran anything like this in the rear and my car was fine when aired out.
yes it did slightly rub on the coilover body but nothing to cause concern.
if you are mildly lowered, there is no need for something like an ss kit, which is why they aren't too popular stateside.
