With age our Pioneer radio (LCD) displays are experiencing segment failures.

The climate control display has been fault free..probably Toyota learned from quality issues on earlier LS400's

I replaced my radio display a few years ago (Pioneer P.N. CWM 5077) and everything worked perfectly. ..until now.

The annunciator arrows for fast forward/reverse for the CD started to fade and then permanently disappear.

Perhaps Puoneer did not upgrade its repair part to a wider temperature fluid, thicker glass and improved sealing techniques ..or is obtaining raw displays from.... China....?

The original radio display lasted over 16 years and the replacement only a fraction of that....

Before contacting Pioneer, has anyone replaced their display and experience failures? How long? Which segments?
