Default Shivering in Las Vegas

Hello,

Anybody in Las Vegas area?? I have to take my car to get couple things fixed. Is the Lexus dealer in town good? Should I be aware of anything in particular? Are they over priced (as in unusual for Lexus Dealership)? Or is there any other place that you guys would recommend over the dealer? I'm new to town. I have just moved here less that a month ago. I used to live in Missouri, there were so many Lexus's compare to here. I was surprised that I didn't see very many Lexus here. Give me suggestions.

The problem that I am having is that whenever I turn the wheel to the left side and break at the same time (slow speed), it would litterally shake the whole car. The vibration is coming from the front left wheel. I just had the bearrings changed not too long ago. Could that be it?

Thank you.

Default braking only?

If this happens only under braking, it could be a warped brake rotor. I have only been to Vegas as a visitor, so I don't know much about Fletcher Jones Lexus up that way.

I tried different places to work on my 90 LS400 and they create damage more than they fix. Finally I took the car to Fletcher Jones Lexus, they really took good care of the car and the serivce is second to none. however the price is very steep, I mean really expensive.
There is another place in Las Vegas that work on Japanese cars specifically Lexus and I heard that they do a very good job even though I did not personally tried them. I believe the name is City Auto and they are on Spring Mountain between Decatur and Jones, the prices are also high but less than the dealer.

Good luck

Question

You mean like really really expensive as in more than usual Lexus Dealers? I usually take my car to the dealer in Missouri and they werent cheap either. But I usually can assure that they would take good care of my car and that the job is done correctly. However, if it's unreasonably over-priced, then I dont want to pay so much for it. So is it way too over-priced?

They are the only Lexus Dealer in town, more expensive than Southern California. For the type of work that was done on my car and based on my research on various lexus forums on the Internet, I can say they are at least 30% more expensive than other dealers. But they will do it right, and again excellen service that I have not experienced in any other dealer. Here are some quotes:

Alignement $99.00
LCD panel for clock and Temprature control $ 890.00, I fixed it myself after ordering parts on the Internet it cost me only $295 parts and took me 1 hour to replace.
CV Boots $ 1000.00
Ball Joints $ 1000.00
A/C work that did not include changing compressor $ 1800.00
$ 1500 for oil leak at the rack and pinion.
$ 125 for transmission oil change.
