Default Roots blown 1998 ls400

I am having trouble figuring out the best way to install the vacuum system. Has anyone done a vacuum system on a 1uz with the roots blower? M112

Is the car running? It looks like you have a lot of stuff hooked up and tee'd into that isnt really necessary and could be causing a problem.

Good luck on the project supercharged 1uz builds are awesome

Nothing against the members here, but there isn't a whole lot of performance modification in this group outside of the typical intake/headers/exhaust. I feel like you'll have a lot better luck between the 1UZ and 2UZ Forced Induction Technical group on Facebook and the Lextreme forums. Also, I'm genuinely interested in knowing what your particular setup is like if you ever want to share info. Most of the stuff I've seen so far is on first generation motors, or the manifold plenum used adds way too much height.

You need to look in the 2GS performance subforum. A few roots blown VVTI UZ engines there.

You mean crankcase vaccum? It would be the same as anyother vehicle/ engine, I've not done it so don't know specifics. So what other mods have to done to insure some longevity with the extra boost? Just my opinion, 1UZFE is an okay engine, but not designed for a lot of boost. I'd be interested in what kind of head gasket problems folks have had doing so.

The car is running and it flies! I'm assuming the black plastic piece bolted to the bottom of the stock intake is a knock sensor? I currently do not have it hooked up and it is throwing a lean code when idling. The car is not knocking and has responded well to the Boost

My goal is to get this system perfected exactly how I want it running on my car and then produce a few of them

the gaskets on the car are really good and should handle what the rods will handle which is maybe close to 500 crank. I would not go over that horsepower on them
