I was getting constant misfire codes and car dying from low idle. All went away after changing the OCV.

symptoms , in my case, were:
-after driving car for awhile, when coming to a stop, the car would die out and/or misfire badly
-multiple misfire code (misfires were all on one bank, coincidentally the same bank as the oil control valve)
-vvt malfunction code
-p0171 system too lean code

At 186,685 miles, my shift solenoids went out a month ago. Shift solenoids are a common problem for our cars. And it's best to change the transmission filter, since it's next to the solenoids.

Any information on replacements..OEM.or aftermarket, Parts supplier, Parts pricing, Labor....

Did you replace all solenoids??

Before and after difference.

Rostra Solenoid Kit #67420CK, $115 shipped from ebay. I did the repair on my own and no I did not replace all the solenoids. It's the two solenoids that are away from the transmission filter. The solenoids next to the filter are the lock up solenoids, from what I saw by the transmission schematics.

Before, the car would not go forward nor reverse. After, smooth shifting ever since.

Requires 3 qts of ATF and I used the Toyota brand.
