Default 1999 LS400 H&R Sport Springs

Hi everyone,

I'm having a really hard time finding these springs for my UCF20. Are they discontinued? Does anyone know where I can find a set? Thanks!

Lowering springs are out of production. Places to look would be wrecking yards, eBay and other sources of used parts. There may be some new sets at some specialty parts suppliers but you'll have to call and see. Recommended would be adjustable coils like Megan's.

Thanks for the reply.
I already bought a set of KYBs but I've been thinking about returning them and getting coilovers instead.
However I'm worried that the lifespan of the coilover will be much shorter and will be more expensive to replace?

The adjustable coils that can be serviced/rebuilt would be the ones to look for. Using Megan as an example they have this on their site:

Megans are rebuildable, new shock cartridge for ~$100/corner.

Tanabe DF210 springs for the UCF20 are still available, the H&R can be found if you search the part number, HR-52426, but are discontinued it seems.

I just emailed a shop about the springs, hopefully they might have left. Otherwise I'll go with the Megans? Are the BCs worth the extra 250? I just want a conservative 1"-1.5" drop. Thanks for all the help RA40 and PureDrifter!

the megans are fine for daily use. You may be lower than you'd like even maxed out with the coilovers, but you'll have adjustability you won't with the spring/shock.

The price for springs and shocks is pretty close to the adjustable Megans. Far more versatile with the adjustable Megans.
