Can I use a stronger alternator to support my sound system and keep my car running without having problems?

Stock is 100A.

Try using stock Denso 130A alternator from 2001-2003 LS430.

This is bolt in replacement for 1995-2000 LS400.
I believe your wire harness connector is differerent...so you will have to purchase a connector shell and contacts...available from Lexus....Make sure wiring schematic and orientation are same...

Physical.dimension and mounting should be the same (except for 3rd mounting ear)....but compare your alternator with the Ls430.
