Just wanted to share with you guys a deal that I just couldn't pass up, ANOTHER 1996 LS400 in absolutely perfect condition. Air suspension, still has the factory phone, and seats look like they've never even been sat in. It will be getting delivered to me today from Charlotte, so i will be back on here to post some pictures of the car.

The phone was the only option I wanted. Every LS I found with the phone turned out to be a pile of hooey. I found a gem and I don't have a phone. Been searching Ebay for one to pop up on the cheap cheap tho.
Quick question driftsucky. Are you expecting the Lexus built in phone to work? I ask because I believe they're analog and that cellular system isn't around anymore as far as I know.

oh heavens no. Even if i could get it to work, I'd get a ticket for using it. I'm up in N.Y. We can't have tint or phones or anything fun lol. I just think they're really REALLY awesome. I would've had fun pretending. Kid at heart and all

Those old phones were handsfree actually. Thats what the controller on the steering wheel is for..
And when the day comes that these cars are collectors items having options like the phone will be a huge plus. Windows in LS come from factory tinted, just not stupidly.
And nice that they won't allow stupid mods in that state.
If there's any tint on it, it doesn't read on a tint meter. NY made tint part of inspection this year, so all the shops have'em and according to it, ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the light gets through. Always.
Interesting. My LS400 definitely had tinted glass, in fact I remember when ordering a replacement windshield I had to specify what color the tint was, green or bronze, it corresponded to the exterior color of the car.

Do all first gen LS400s lack any factory tint?
My 91 has the bronze colored glass, if that's what you're referring to.
