Default 2000 Lexus LS400 Rough Idle-Misfire Codes P0300, P0302, P0307

My mothers 2000 Lexus LS400 with 81,000 miles will start up and run fine for less than 1 minute, then a rough idle begins where it feels like a couple cylinders are out. My friend ran a scanner to see P0300, P0302, P0307. Has anyone seen these codes and have any recommendations?

Thank you,

Don

Sounds like a cam timing is off. I'd check the OCV and the timing belt.

And what is an "engine wire" ? There are lots and lots of "engine wires". Is it high T or Low T? Yamae has very likely had the most experience with this.

My random thought is that if it runs fine at start-up, the problems might begin when it enters closed-loop operation. Might be a bad sensor confusing the ECM.

Coolant temp sensor? Put your code reader in realtime data mode and check it's value as the engine warms up. 2nd guess would be your MAF sensor, or fuel pressure issues.
