Gear Shift Indicator lights do not work upon engine start but ok later
Guys,
LS 400 1995 with 150k miles on it. Recently swapped out the transmission with a used one.
Car runs great and gears shift smoothly. One thing I have noticed is that the gear indicator lights on the dash do not turn on till about 5 min of driving. The Cruise control feature does not work because of this. After about 5 min of driving, the lights flash and turn on and cruise works normal.
Any suggestions guys?

It is a typical symptom of a NSS begins to fail. You should had used the original NSS to your new transmission or just to use a new one. There is a way to fix it cleaning the contacts mechanically or electrically though.
