1993 - Died on highway, now no start - ECU?
Car turns over but will not start. Sounds good, seems like it should fire but won't start. How likely is the culprit being the ECU? Anything else I should check first? 220K miles. Has this happened to anyone else before?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Oh, and will a 1993 run on a 1992 ECU? From what I've read on this forum it MIGHT. There are several 1992's at my local junkyard so I might go grab a couple ECU's and try them out.

It has happened to many of us. (too many times over the years) Thing is, it could be a number of things. No spark, no fuel, broke timing belt, battery, crank sensor.... anything. First thing you need to do is check for codes. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html
Also, the ECU from 92 and 93 are not the same. 93 and 94 are.
