Default Cooling system problem

I have a 98 Lexus ES300. Temp gauge inside vehicle goes up when driving and down when idle. Changed radiator, Cap, Temp sensor, added proper antifreeze. Fans run when at idle. No leaks detected. Also, upper radiator hose has collapsed. I'm at a dead end and don't know which way to turn. Please help me!

wrong section but almost always start with bleeding the air out of the coolant. if that doesn't help then I suspect your thermostat is to blame. the glaring issue is, why did your upper rad hose collapse?! that needs to be straightened out of course.
