Default First Gen LS400 What to look for????

Hi Guys,
I am looking at a '94 LS with no air suspension. The car has been well taken car of and has only 60K miles. I do not beleave the 60K service has been done yet. Other than that all service has been done on time. The car has new tires and brakes.
My question is What things should i look for? What issues or problams have you guys seen on this year of LS? Anything i should look for thats going to run into big money?
I have not really seen to many things that are common to fail so i just thought i would ask. Thanks...

Thumbs up start here

This should get you started https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sea...der=descending

These are wonderful cars, I have a 91 LS400 with over 217,000 miles, but they were expensive to build and they are expensive to repair.

Read through the search results for the most common problems.

HTH,

GA400

60K mile service by Lexus dealership here is $700. I had a pre-owned 93 LS and purchased it when it had 54K miles. I traded it around 94K miles and had no problems except regular maintenance services. The first brake job on my LS was at its 90K service

Things to look out for are:
-the guages not working or dimming
-the AC unit not being able to see
-power steering pump

All this stuff is actually for most LS that has gone beyond 140K so you still gots a long way to go.
Besides that it is mostly daily maintainence issues.
