Default Need help --- 99 ls400 with sc430 wheels

Hey guys I've been on the forum for years and this is my first post. I need some help putting these wheels on my LS. I needn't to know if anyone has put sc430 wheels on a 99 ls400? I've seen it done on 90-96 ls400 but the problem is the 97-00 have the 4 piston caliper which requires a crazy offset I belive. Any advice would help thanks

I've got SC430 wheels on my 97'.

I bought some 15mm spacers off eBay for 38 shipped and they're working great so far. The hardware they used to affix them to the car is kinda cheap so make sure you use a 19mm socket that grabs all the way to the edge and not 1/8" in, otherwise you'll round off the nuts. My Craftsman one is good, it grabs all the way to the edge of the socket, unlike my Harbor Freight impact socket.

But I just drove 2000 miles cross country with these wheels and spacers from Phoenix to Ann Arbor, MI and didn't have one fault. Smooth balance as well. I'm running 235/45/18 tires and my speedometer is perfect, not 1mph off.

The one thing I did have to do was cut the tips of the factory studs off by about a 1/8" to be able to clear and mount flush behind the pockets of the SC430 wheels. If you go with a 20mm space you probably won't have to do this, but I didn't want to run into issues with the edge of the tires rubbing when turning. As it sits right now, I can go lock to lock with these 235/45/18 tires and nothing bumps, rubs or hits the fenders on big bumps with full suspension compression.

Here's my thread I made about it back in October 2016

yep, what losi said should be enough to answer your question!
just a clarification, 90-94 model cars (1st gen, UCF10) have the small brakes. 95-00 model cars (2nd gen, UCF20) have the bigger calipers which necessitates the use of spacers.
