Type of Battery for a First Gen Remote

I searched the threads but didn't come up with anything.

My key came apart and I lost my battery, so I have nothing to go by, except amybe how it looked.

What is the code for the type of battery used in the first gen remote?

Do you have a copy of the LS400 Owner's manual? The battery type for my GS remote is documented in my owner's manual. My previous Lexus was a 93 LS and I believed I have seen the battery type in the owner's manual.

Remote Battery

The '92 LS400 key remote uses a BR 1216 battery. You may be able to find it on the shelf at Walgreens or your nearest Radio Shack can order it for you.
