Default Corvette C4 Sawblade Wheels

Long time lurker, first time poster. I currently have a 1990 LS400 that has stock (as far as I know) suspension and 15x6.5 wheels. I'm looking to buy some wheels for it when spring break hits in April. I have had my eye on a set of C4 Corvette machined sawblade wheels, but I'm not experienced enough to confidently gauge how they will fit. The ones I'm looking at are off a 1993 'Vette, and are 17x8.5 in the front and 17x9.5 in the back with a +56mm offset. I plan on buying coilovers (Most likely Megans) soon afterwards, but before I go spending all this money I would like some advice from some more educated members. I know these are frequently found on Volkswagens, but I've never seen one on a Lexus (except in this one case on MIKU*SC3's car) so I don't really have anyone else's experience for reference.

Would this be a good idea? I'm not willing to pull or roll my fenders, so will I rub with tires above a certain size? Is the offset too high? I want to be aware of anything significant before I jump in.

Thanks!

You didn't really highlight how you planned to deal with the difference in bolt pattern...

C4 Vettes are 5x4.75". All LS400s are 5x114.3mm (aka 5x4.5")

I would think you could probably find adapters/spacers to deal with the bolt pattern issue, but I don't know how the offsets would be effected. I don't think it would be a bad look assuming you could get the fitment correct.

they will look good if lowered, I wouldn't go any smaller diameter tire than a 235/45 in the rear... it'll start to look off.

if it were me i'd either do

205/50 F 225/50 R with a wider brand i.e. yokohama s.drive ( a little stretch)

or

245/45 F 275/40 R (no stretch)

adapter size will vary depending on stretch or no stretch. However not being willing to roll without rub is going to hurt the look.
