Default Farewell - but I'll still be around.

It's time to close an era - I no longer drive an LS, and mine needed some major repairs done - starter, UCAs, and brake booster. This forum has helped me keep my former car running for a long time, longer than my family had their cars. Just shows how well these cars are built, grossly over engineered but many repairs are within reason.

But I'll still be around and dropping in on threads, I'm not completely gone from the LS, as my parents just picked up an 430 and I'll be the one taking care of it.

I am fairly new to the LS 400,
but have been over at the ES 330 /350 for a while.

How long did you own your LS, and what was the mileage on it when you bought it?
and what is it now?
What was your yearly average cost to maintain your car?
How much would it have cost to fix your LS?
What are you driving now?
Why did you give up on the LS?
Why not just get a lower mileage LS?

Sorry to hear you retired yours, maybe you'll come across another one during that late night craigslisting we all do time to time

Once we've experienced the LS, it is hard to move into something else. Safe travels to you.

1 to the above comments. Nice Lexus cars come up so you may find yourself in one again.
