Default LS400 attrition rate?

So any good guesses of how many LS400's are being junked and scrapped every day, in the US? My wild guess is 4 a day. The stupid pick n pull close to me keeps cars only a month, but the one that is 30 miles away keeps them way longer. They should really research what they are doing. They are for sure making nothing on the scrap value, and they should adjust the prices so they are not being huge _____ holes about the prices.

I will be junking my 1st gen when it dies, which does not seem to be coming any time soon. I am hoping for five more years in perfect scenario.
But a low mileage 2nd gen has plenty of life in it left! I wish I had one (one just got away, it was a 2000, 50k miles, pristine condition, one owner - lady... missed it by a couple of hours... arghhh)

The 10's are becoming less and less because now they have fallen into beater status at their lower value pricing. The ones owned by the older crowd take care of them so the maintenance is current and they tend to be in better shape. I see 460's that are in poor shape, one wonders how some owners can trash them so quickly. Saw a '12 460 that the seats had cracked with 22K miles on it. The steering wheel looked as if the owner wore sandpaper rings too.

Eeek! Sorry to hear you're letting your 1994 LS go.. When you get the chance, could you check your messages?

Around me they are getting more scarce just in last couple years, and are very quickly cannibalized into shells fast.

I see some though they are approaching beater status. Peeling paint, door dinged panels, torn stained interiors... The nicer ones are being driven by silver haired types.
