these cars are old enough now to see them still running right but absolutely trashed cosmetically. I saw one driving down the road that was about 5 different colors with mismatched rims the other day lol. so, heres something I haven't seen yet and im wondering if anybody has tride it and pulled it off.

a Rat Rod style Ls400, yoy know, covered in rust and patina and rims painted red looking like a 1950s rust bucket with all kinds of goofy mods that put the car backwards in luxury instead of upgrading. something really different? has anyone done it or do I gotta be the first? lol

Sounds cool, like what I'd have done if I lived out in the desert somewhere. Unfortunately for me, Michigans seasons are winter and construction, so mud tires it is. I always thought the long, low shape of the LS400 evokes the vision of luxury from the 1960's as much as the late 80's.
