Vibration at 2000 RPM Sitting Still
In my 1998 LS400, I feel a vibration at 2000 and 3500 rpms when car is sitting still. Most pronounced at 2000 rpm. Replaced a broken motor mount figuring that would fix it but it didn't. No CEL or codes and it is intermittent. Where should I start checking next?
It's almost like a misfire. You can feel it in the steering wheel.

Change the transmission mount.
I had the same issue. I changed the motor mounts which were completely finished and was confisent I had found the problem but it didnt change anything surprisingly.
After searching the on the web a bit i decided to try changing the tranny mount and voila.
