has anyone done this mod i want to do it but just seeing if anyone has done it to there ls
i dont know exactly how to i guess just find a plate that will fit?

ps i heard that this makes about 10hp or so i would believe it b/c of how much power i have on a cold engine vs. warm engine with hot as hell exhaust temp into intake

thats interesting, i wonder as well if its going to work for our cars.

15 bucks for 10hp!!! thats one heck of a deal! It even tells you how to get rid of the CEL. By the way where is our EGR sensor?

im not 100% sure but i would have to say that the part that you block off is the 1/2 inch or so exhast kinda looking pipe at the back of the engine on top below the wipers w/ the hood open

this mod works.. probably not for 10 horse.. but it works. Only problem is you need to adjust fuel map to take full advantage.. just like many others

What does the throttle body coolant bypass mod do? And how do you do it? Can you shoot some pictures of your engine lspoweR?

Guys, most cars use the EGR for emissions ONLY. The exhaust gas is recirculated (EGR) only under idle and cruising conditions NOT during WOT (wide open throttle). Why would you gain power by blocking it off? I haven't read through the actual emission system white papers for these engines but I doubt you will gain any useable power but you will be commiting a crime by rendering part of the emission system inoperable.

i saw a beutiful jdm 1uz on ebay...w/o egr b/s so thats the final im ripping that whole egr bull***** out and putting in the resistors and block off plates the jdm motor looks so much cleaner w/o it

finally done, im proud of myself, engine looks much cleaner, removed half of the system totally disabled, no more exhaust gasses for my intake, i just want to get a little part of the jdm motor to get rid of ugly egr b/s piece, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

I'm doing this now on my 93 sc400 and I have no instructions with the kit. Please show me How did you do it? Lol.
