Ok i seen pictures online but dont know if its a joke or really works for extra insurance from power steering pump leaks,does the cut down clorox bleach bottle work??

Possibly, but I think you would cut down the ability to have heat dissipation on the alternator itself. Why not just fix the leak on the power steering system?

Well with heat idk im thinking it should get plenty of air while driving for it to cool off ?? Plus.its only half covered? The reason im trying this is because the ps pump always leaks no matter what route you go it will eventually leak again,i tryed pluginng it and replaced the pump itself and still leaks and killed 2 alternators,so if the shield do work ill do it and just deal with the slow leak and ad ps fluid when needed i can live with that if the shield idea works

The shielding over the top would be fine, you just would not want the bottom of that container left on like in the picture. You need that whole area of the rear of the alternator to be open, that plastic blocks the airflow.
And actually to properly make a shield for the alternator it would be best to have it spaced away from it as much as possible, not right on it like this plastic deal. Also that plastic is a fire hazard of sorts, I would not use it for that reason. Any shield should be made from sheet metal.

Rite on, i mite go browse at lowes or home depot and see if i can find thin bendable metal and make one,seem easy enough?

I have inserted an aluminium plate as is shown at the link below. It is used like an umbrella. It has been working fine for 4 years+ so far without any heat problem. The material I used was a beer can of 500mL.

Thats a great idea to,probly easier to play and bend it to shape,how you get it to stay in place?

And i just came from home depot to get this 12x12 plate,going to shape in on my day off if it dont work im going to try the beer can trick,mite do it with orion beer lol

what a neat idea, of course do NOT use plastic. thin metals work well especially the small clearances of the engine bay. very curious to see the outcome of yours!

To get the plate to stay, I didn't use anything like bolts or screws.
After cutting a corner of the plate like the photo at your #2 post, I just inserted it lowering the alternator some to do the insertion job easier and to align it correctly. Then I just set up the alternator at it's original position. While doing this, the thin aluminium plate was automatically bent. The space between the pump and the alternator was quite limited and the plate was sandwiched firmly. Thus the plate didn't move at all. After that, I bent the plate some more aiming the oil didn't drop to the alternator directly.
