Rear Dome/Map/Reading Lights Not Working ('98 LS400)(Solved)
Alrighty, time for me to ask a dumb question.
Just went to all LED for the interior lighting.
I thought the two furthest back lights in the rear didn't work because the bulbs were dead.
After installing the LEDs, I realized that they still don't work no matter what (front doors being open, rear doors being open, turning the front dome light to "on"/"door", nothing).
Every other light as far as I can see works just fine including the trunk and rear map lights.
There is no buttons anywhere in the car that i've noticed that controls these lights.
I would assume it would be on the same circuit of the rear map lights..but looks like i'm wrong. They also didn't work before the LED install. So I haven't been able to learn when they're supposed to actually turn on to begin with.
So questions -
: When are these lights supposed to turn on
: Are they on their own fuse, if not, what do they share a fuse with? (only asking because non of my fuses are bad)
: Does the front come light controls (door/off/on) control these lights
Before I get yelled at. I tried my hardest finding threads in regards to this already xD
Any advice?
Much appreciated!

Solution
So, after talking with a friend frome
our local club. Turns out you have to turn on the courtesy light while the car is on for that light to come on. Both are now working.
