Default 1999 Lexus LS400 ready for the Future

I have just got my parts to renew my 202,000 mile LS
new: waterpump, timing belt, seals & bearings, front fan bracket bearing combo.
Engine mounts, and tranny mount, spark plugs, VC gaskets, tube seals and necessary items.
my pride and joy will serve me well. Inside and out, still first class...
I ride down the streets and see all the newer cars and just think "If you only knew"
and ounce of care for a pound of love.....

Looks so much better than any new car now offered by Lexus.
Just curious about how many and what brand the airbags are?

Looks great! Congrats!
And, much agreed. These are amazing cars.

My '94 is getting some TLC...new spark plugs, plug wires, cap/rotors, fuel filter, and differential bushings. Though, the Dealer informed me that I'll need to do the valve cover gaskets in the near future...

Very nice, Billy. Glad to see you're keeping everything in tip-top shape, as usual.

My prayers are with your mechanic.

Lexus did good on those years, I think they look more attractive than the Gen 2's. I drove a 98 once and liked it a bunch.

just picked up my LS, and it runs like a new car, perfectly SILENT and peppy as new, AT IDLE, YOU CAN NOT EVEN HEAR THE MOTOR RUNNING, press on the gas and the car moves silently like it did years ago. and I guess my plugs were in need of replacing too, that was a thousand well spent...
