I have a 93 Ls400 with the Pioneer system. There is nothing coming from the woofer. I jumped it to a small speaker and it's just scratching sounds.

Is the problem in the head unit? Should I just replace that or is there anything I can do?

Gen 1's have an amplifier in the trunk for the woofer, also the speaker itself can be bad.
