Are there any safety systems that if removed will put the ECU into Limp Mode?
Hello All!
Like the topic says, I'm curious if there are any safety or electronic systems that if removed will put the ECU into "limp mode". I know with some vehicles if the ECU can't talk to some of it's ancillary controllers, it'll go into limp home mode so you can still drive the vehicle, but not over 1500 RPM's or something.
The reason I ask is because I'm building a 92 LS400 drift car using the stock engine, and I have no need for traction control, ABS, etc., so I plan to remove them.
Thanks all!
