What tool are you guys using to change the O2 sensor?

Default What tool are you guys using to change the O2 sensor?

This is a 95.That special oxygen sensor socket has never worked for me.Are you guys backing off the heat shield so that you can use a wrench , rather than a socket?

harbor freight sells a socket for I think 6.99 that isn't a long socket, it has a 3/8th's square that you put your wrench into and its very compact.

I got the job done with AutoZone's O2 socket loan-a-tool. The tool didn't cost anything.

I used this same tool and it wouldnt grip the eges right.Maybe I need to try another socket like a standard socket
