Default any "barn find" Ls400 restorations yet?

anyone pull a really rancid one with rust mold and god knows what else that was dragged out of a barn or a swamp or was sitting for ten years and restored and brought back to life? ive heard of this but man id love to hear some stories and see some before/after pics.

anyone?

Would be nice though unlike the hot rod guys, these LS's don't seem to have that following stateside. I'm pretty amused to see the video's of vintage JDM cars. I find the 70's Cressida and Coronas . I would like having another MX73 Cressida but an MX63 would be better.

I saw a pic of one with flat tires and about a foot of dust and cobwebs on it somewhere a little while back

I have a feeling that if anyone pulls one of these out of a barn it will be to race/drift or rob the drivetrain out of it. Now, I have seen a trend of older import cars being fixed up but in order to restore one a strong aftermarket will be needed and I just don't see that.

well they are old enough to be found in barns at this point. hell ten years ago you could find early ucf10s in the 2 and 3k range.

I feel you op but yea I dont think that happens too much if even at all. Theyre probably either well taken care of or the beaters youll see occasionally mine live on both sides of the spectrum with my ownership. These days its doing better though. Haha

i have a very trashed 95 sitting in my yard, that one day will be cut to pieces and scrapped
after I remove the fenders, glass, exhaust, trans, and hood lol
