is it supposed to be a free access? Asking before I pay for a subscription and didn't need to and I feel suckered.

It's $15 for a two day subscription, which should be enough time to download everything you need for your car.

Just keep in mind that you have to download all this stuff one file at a time. It takes a lot of time. Why they don't just have one file you download is anyone's guess. It's ridiculous. I spent hours and hours downloading and more hours organizing the files after the fact. It's a bit of a nightmare.

I guess that's what I was getting at if I pay for the access can I store on my own computer and access it even after 2 day subscription expires if yes then great since this will prob be a project that will be done on time after work, kids, etc and it will definitely take more than 2 days to complete.

Once you download it, it's yours. You need to get all the files you want in the two day window, though.

I wrote a script years ago to automate the entire downloading process. I could not find that script anymore and I don't think that script would work with the current website. I might be willing to rewrite the script to automate the downloading process again if someone could hook me up with a subscription.
