Good for you Kenny. How is the experience? I've heard mixed things about the new LS. I really like the 98-00s that I have been fortunate enough to drive. Wondering about main differences in suspension feel. I really like the LS430 ride for what it is worth.

Its all that and a bag of chips. My best friend has a beautiful 2005 LS 430 but it never inspired me to buy one. The 460 has more horsepower and is sexy as hell. Buyers remorse is something no one will experience after buying an LS 460. I'm sure the big German cars are just as nice but they are pieces of crap as we all know.

i wouldnt mind upgrading to a newer LS but the feel of the second gen is just to powerful it would have to be the ls460 F sport to get me to upgrade w/rear wheel drive still since i know the 4wd is a option. hopefully you enjoy the people on the ls460 thread they seem to be alot older than the people in this 1-2nd gen any upgrades you going to do

The price was right, 20k with 84,000 1 owner miles. All dealer service records on the Lexus website and carfax. And yes it was real hard to part with my 91 and im sure I will be revisiting it in my dreams.

I would never be able to get myself to upgrade; however, it sounds like you got a fantastic car!
Enjoy, and congratulations!

nevertheless it's still a Lexus LS so it wasn't a bad choice, and the car looks good. definitely still has the presence. i'm loving that shot of the two of them next to each other though, car designs need to go back to looking more like that. so what if they're more dangerous to the people inside and the people they run over, just avoid things. not very hard lol, yet people manage to crash so often

So you traded in your old ride? Not to pry but did they give you that much over keeping it or selling it on your own? Congrats on the new ride though. They are nice. My neighbor has a black one with that tan interior and it is sweet.

never needed adjustment an looks perfect to this day. You can go down the highway with the roof open 2/3 without any wind blowing in. It clamps on no holes or glue. They gave me 3k for my car after negotiating the price for the new one. It's on their website with pics for 5k.
http://vehicleimages.s3.amazonaws.co...db/image-1.jpg. http://automotive-imports.com/. Trust me it's every bit as good as it looks. The only problems are a slow a/c leak and the radio display is black. No leaks and insane service records since it was my mission to keep it nice. I'm a retired mechanic with my tools and a lift in my heated garage. Look I loved it but change is good and I have a new baby now.
