Default Door window channels

I have one that makes a scraping sound going up or down. What do others use to lube or rectify the problem?
And don't say Silicone lube, auto painters say keep that stuff as far away from your car as you can if you ever plan on anything on it being painted.

if it's scraping isn't there a possibility there's some debris or dirt or something in there causing the scrape?

Default 1999 LS400 door weatherstrip

I recently changed these door weatherstrips on my 99LS:

P/N: 6816150031
P/N: 6816250031

I changed them primarily because the rubber had many small cracks on the outside. It is the part that shows on the outside just below the door glass and it also has some felt-like material that touches the glass. It is easy to damage that part, don't bend it!!!
My thoughts are that after years of lowering dirty glass some debris can get trapped in the felt-like material, I do not know for sure, thought, if that is really the case.
The parts were around $60 each, I just changed both front ones, the rear ones are still original.

don't think its a regional/climate problem. ALL the windows creak when rolled down in my 95 Ls400 and im in Orlando, FL. being that I drive with my windows down all the time, (yes, im one of those people), it is a major concern of mine and hope to find a solution soon before one day I go to roll my windows up and one gets stuck.

following.....

i thought there was a specific lube called out by lexus/toyota for this kinda stuff?

i don't see why silicone lube should not be used here. you are not planning on painting the window track are you?

Its bad enough that silicone is used in some polishes, it should not be in a lube that is sprayed on a car, it will mist all over. If it ever needs a part painted it will cause all sorts of problems. It would be very difficult to remove from small hard to access cracks and crevices
This noise sounds like the glass is scraping on metal when raised or lowered.. I don't know on these cars but in the old days all the window channels were felt lined, and if the felt wore thru then the glass would be on the metal and make this exact same noise. If its an adjustment how to do it, its not weather stripping, its rubbing on metal.

white lithium grease with the supplied spray straw. Spray directly into the window channels, roll the window up and down, clean the window with glass cleaner. done.
