Oracle Halo light installation
The wire leads coming off each halo are ridiculously short. I have no idea what type of headlight setup these would work on without extending the tails - which is exactly what I had to do next. You would think for over $160 they would come with several feet of wire???

Last week I broke two rings during my first install attempt because I tried to use thin bailing wire to attach them. I put a little too much pressure on the rings, and...pow.
So this time I decided to follow Oracles' instructions and attach the rings to the housing with epoxy. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE. There was no specific brand or type mentioned in their instructions so I went with an all-weather, temp. resistant type by Loktite. I practiced with it a few times on other objects until I got the mix right. Yet, once applied to the rings and after hours of waiting the glue did not cure at all, just made a big mess.
Spent the next hour cleaning partially cured epoxy off of everything. Oh, did I mention that the cleaner I used also dissolved areas of the chrome reflective coating? I then went back to my original plan except this time I used ultra-thin ornament wire with a 1/4" weather strip cushion underneath to help fill in the gaps and minimize road vibrations. Worked like a charm!

With the rings now firmly in place I temporarily put both lights back together, test-fitted them and checked if my wiring was good. Everything tested fine so all I gotta do now is bake the two halves back together and this nightmare will be over.
