Broken Parking Light
I got into a small accident and my driver's side parking light cover is completely broken. :egads: The bulb is still intact but it is exposed. What's the easiest way to fix the cover? Do I need to buy an entire new headlight/parking light assembly? I can always take the car to the dealer but I was wondering if there was an easier DIY solution.. my car is a 94 .. any help would be appreciated!

I believe that you would have to get a whole new parking light assembly for that. You can't just replace the glass/plastic since it's a sealed unit. You may want to try taking a look at some bone yards for a used one. I'm sure that a replacement from the dealer would be over $300 + labor.

If you are refering to only the clear plastic corner piece
with a single wedge light bulb in it, you dont have a big situation. Those can be purchased from your dealer, I think around the price range of $40. Or you can try good old e-bay. I saw them go on there for about $15. Just a note, I am refering to the plastic light which joins to the glass headlights, not the parking lights on the lower bumper. ;) -R |
Yeah I'm talking about the corner light that is next to the headlight. Just $15 on ebay? I only saw the bumper lights on ebay but I'll look.. thanks for the advice. And $40 doesn't sound to steep from the dealer either, I'll check it out.
