okay this is my first post

okay got the car for my family we owned it for about 6 months and never had a issue out of it
my wife works 3rd shift .....she goes to work one day and when she gets off the car wont start..i get there later that day the car starts right up....few weeks later same issue...i get there starts right up talk to the wrench he says probably fuel pump going out....3rd time is the charm it did it again this time it did a limp start so this time i did what he says and changed the fuel pump.....a little hard getting it done but done is done starts and runs for a week again...after a fun weekend of driving around i let lexie take a break for a day when i go out to start it nothing....so i have new fuel pump my other guy says man do the ECU so i did sent it off to get done got it back now still nothing and now i really dont know what to do....love the car i need it so any ideas guys??????

So I guess the people your talking to really don't know much about troubleshooting newer electronic type cars. Hmm newer ? I could be talking about a 25 year old car. We can't even guess with out the year of the car, we need what RA40 says we need.

model, year, mileage, recent work done to it

when you say wont start do you mean.....

1. there is no click when you turn the key?
2. all you get is a click?
3. engine turns over but wont fire
4. engine turns over and sputters but wont stay running?
