Default Radio Fuse Location

Hello all,

The Nav unit on my '99 JDM Celsior has never worked and it's starting to annoy me.
I could easily live without nav, but unable to operate the a/c, heater, fan etc is annoying.

The only thing working on the unit is the clock and the buttons around the screen illuminate when I switch the lights on. The rest is dead.

I have checked all fuses I could find (Driver's side and engine bay).

The wiring diagram mentions a 15A radio fuse 2 located @ Instrument panel J/B.
Does anyone know where that is and what J/B stands for.

Many thanks in advance.

J/B stands for Junction Box and it's English. It's located under the dash and is almost the right end.

There are 3 other fuses connected to the Nav unit.
15A CRT
20A Radio No.1
7.5A Dome light.
These 3 are all in the fuse box behind the battery.

The diagram mentions 3 locations -
1- Driver's side J/B
2 - Instrument Panel J/B
3 - Engine Room J/B

I've found the one you mentioned driver's side, right side under the dash.
Is the instrument panel J/B a different one?

I must be blind

I can see the fuse box with the 24 fuses in it (4 rows of 6), but can't see anything else on the driver's side. Looked behind carpet as well........

Anyone any idea where this is hidden?
