Default Weird engine noises - videos - need help

Help needed please!

There are some new and weird sounds coming from the engine in my 1991 Lexus LS400 with ~190k miles. Please check the videos. Both videos are similar, but a little different.

Weird noise when shutting down coming from the top of the engine. Continuing cyclical noise near the right distributor. I tried moving the camera around so you can see where it gets louder = closer to the source of the sound. There is also a weird noise when starting up, like a turbine spinning up or something. ??? Need help debugging please.

The car is generally running well except for an intermittent misfire, which just started. It seems to be purely electrical - i.e., something other than these noises. It will sometimes go away completely. Warm up/cold does not matter. Will appear and disappear suddenly, so I'm pretty sure it's electrical. On that, it has relatively new (< 1 year old) OEM plugs, distributor caps and rotors.

I'm planning to take some things off and replace the coils and spark plug tube seals soon. Maybe valve cover gaskets while I'm there.

So if anyone has any ideas now on what the problem might be that is causing these weird noises, I'd like to be able to fix it while I'm taking all the other stuff apart too.

Thanks.
