Default Diamond Cut Headlights For 90 Ls400

Hi Guys

I'm an Australian Lexus LS400 afficionado!. The car is considered quite elite in Australia and is very popular with the "professional set". I will never buy any other brand!

I understand that there are aftermarket headlamps for the UCF10/11 LS400/Celsior. I ahven't been able to find anything on the net. However, I understand that the Jap domestic market 1997 Toyota Crown Royal Touring headlamps, that are diamond cut and have height adjustment , may fit. Can anyone confirm this.

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase a woodtrim airbag steering wheel trim/cover?

Cheers

There is a company that make these headlights for the LS, but they are in Japan and the I believe crossroads or hilltop makes them.

Thumbs up

Hi Vik

I reside in Canberra. What model Lexus do you own?

Many thanks to all those who replied. Does anyone know the Hilltop or Crossroads web address. I believe that the Celsior Bibe may have ther diamond cut headlamps advertised for sale.

Cheers

Perth.
Have no Lexus yet.
Still checking 2 of the 1-st gen LS400s. Dealer refuses to give me service history for these two. And they even don't want to give me a written confirmation that vehicles were serviced by Lexus.

In that case, leave quickly. I also experienced the same thing, I inspected a 96 Diamond White Pearl car at a non-Lexus dealer, and they also claimed that the service history was "immaculate", but could not produce the service books, and dodged the question each time it was asked. When we had enough and told him we were leaving, he disappeared, made a quick phone call on his mobile, and told us that he could suddenly produce the books

The car itself was also suspect, which is another reason why we didn't buy it.....a/c performance was woefull, acceleration and engine performance was slack, and the car had chips, dents and scratches all over it, which the dealer refused to fix. The car we did buy (from a Lexus dealer) is 1 year older, has more km, but is immaculate and has full Lexus service history.

Books seem to be okay for both cars. One has full service history in the log book but again when I asked Lexus dealer (We have only one in Perth) to proove car's history and dealer's service manager told me that car was serviced by Lexus but all service records were erased... And refused to give me written service confirmation about the car.

The second was partially serviced by Lexus and I can't get service records from Lexus. Maybe I do something wrong ?

There is another one LS400 but I don't want to spend $40K ($24K US) on 1994 model...

Why don't you buy one in the US (probably in the $6-10k range, depending on year and miles) and have it shipped to you? I'm sure shipping can't be more than $1-2k.

Simply impossible. Forbidden by law. Do you think if I could import JDM Celsior I would bother with Lexus dealer ?

Hilltop company in Japan.....

Most of the work they do is you turn in your old headlights and they will make them clear and blacken them for you. If you have a black car it should look good and your chrome is dull looking.

VIK,
I will send you the Celsior piece by piece. LOL

Really ? It would be very nice of you ! but I think Lexus sent this way will cost even more
I will remember your offer and PM you when I need your help. Catalogs and few parts like 1-st gen 2/3 red and white tailights would be fine. I'll pay all expenses.

In exchange I can send you something from here.
