Stereo LCD Screen where to buy for 1999 ls400
My stereo LCD screen readout is bad again, where is everyone buying the LCD display strip?

pretty common LS problem... were you planning on doing the install yourself? it's really not so bad, MOST IMPORTANT thing is to make sure to have someone (or something) pull on the two clips on the inside of the center air vent assy that needs to be removed. if you don't it will be THE BIGGEST pain in the *** to remove, if you do it's a walk in the park. my car has already been through 2 of these screens, i'm a bit disappointed that pioneer couldn't make a better LCD in 1999, they were hardly cutting edge at that point
is yours pioneer or nakamichi btw, that hasn't been clarified yet. if it's a nakamichi you have way fewer options

the one that i replaced lasted about that long too. i bought 2 screens at once this more recent time just so i'm covered for the future lol

I actually purchased mine from last March from:

I paid $20 more than pioneer price because pioneer didn't accept credit cards from outside USA so I had to go to someone else.
the funny thing is that last March a couple of pixels of my stereo LCD were out, so I purchase the LCD above and it arrived perfectly after 25 days, I wanted to do the replacement last week but ..... surprise...... the old LCD is now working perfectly ! the only thing that changed was the weather, in May its hotter by around 12 deg. C than March. So the new LCD is spare now
